I have my IR receiver in a closet in my basement, so there is no TV generating signals. I have had this problem though once in a while.

It is good now knowing that I can just restart the service rather than reboot.

I guess I have this sort of working. If I use certain remotes, the code shows as MCERemote.Unknown.xxxxxxxx. I can assign those to macros.
