Hi Shaggy79,
I also use a Microsoft Server Text to Speech Voice, and like kalia suggested, I use nircmd. I was wondering which version of nircmd you tried using (ie 64 bit or 32 bit). I have win 7 64-bit and the MS Server TTS voices (actually many various TTS voices) don't register correctly in 64 ...

Re: System.ChangeMasterVolumeBy
Are you rounding the volume value or truncating it ?
I don't mean with the setting of the volume, I mean the displaying of it -
if it's truncated then this can happen when using the windows slider to change volume as well i.e. displayed value doesn't match what is set on the windows slider move ...

Extra "Monitor with Mouse" option for OSD
Was thinking this might be a useful feature for the OSD plugin which comes standard with EG these days, essentially adding an extra selection to the "Show on Display" option of "Monitor with Mouse".
It can be done quite easily with a script but the code for the OSD plugin confuses the hell out of ...

Re: Issue with Find Window & Emulate Keystrokes in Same Macr
I haven't used XBMC, I use MediaPortal for my media centre but that's only because when I got fed up with Windows Media Centre, (more than several years ago now) XBMC apparently didn't have a very good TV card module while MediaPortal did. Have been tempted to try XBMC though just haven't got around ...

Re: Issue with Find Window & Emulate Keystrokes in Same Macr
Thanks for the reply Pako,
In retrospect, It doesn't surprise me that is a windows issue so that makes sense. When I originally searched for a solution on the forums the only other thread remotely related to the problem I was having was Alt+Up (via Send Keys) not working in File Explorer, but that ...

Re: Issue with Find Window & Emulate Keystrokes in Same Macr
Thanks for the quick reply themaster1.
Yes I've read your post regarding the "Find Window appears to be broken" thread, and am using more than just the program name.
I've also tried the alternate method for emulate keystrokes but that doesn't work at all even if the Find Window action is disabled ...

Issue with Find Window & Emulate Keystrokes in Same Macro
Hi Guys,
Wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows of a way around it, or if this is a bug of some kind. I've found this effects versions 0.4.1.r1572 & 0.4.1.r1582 and maybe older versions also.

Perhaps try launching EventGhost with the "-hide" or "-h" parameter if you haven't already. Not sure if it will work running it as a shell though.

Re: MediaPortal Message Plugin update
Hi Wiedmann,
I like some of what you have done with this alteration but not all of it. For example the grouping seems like a step forward, and some of the additions which are supported by the media portal plugin (Asterisk & NumberSign for example) however you have changed things like the macro ...

Re: New way to get MCE Remote signals in EG (for Vista/Win7)
I'm a bit confused, but what I notice with my computer is that (under Windows Task manager) the Alternate MceIR "service" runs in the N/A group. If I go to the process level, it is running as a "SYSTEM" user name - other names under "Windows Task manager" (process area) include "user", "LOCAL ...

Re: Phillips MCE receiver plugin
Hi Rahil,
I seem to have this exact same IR receiver, however it came bundled with my previous notebook, and I never knew it was a "Phillips" MCE Receiver (same OVU number and looks identical, only mine reads OVU412000/00 on the bottom, not sure if yours is different in the last bit). Anyway, back ...

Re: New way to get MCE Remote signals in EG (for Vista/Win7)
With regard to the deleting of the HID drivers for your IR blaster, I'm afraid I'm not really sure. I'd think if you've done it once and they reinstalled on restart, then if they were in some way corrupt before hand, then they should in theory be fixed due to the re-installation - however In ...

Re: New way to get MCE Remote signals in EG (for Vista/Win7)
Hi Catharsis,
I'm not sure, but sounds like the alternate MCE driver (used for this plugin) has been corrupted or perhaps parts of it were overwritten with an MS update. I haven't encountered this problem but I do run Win 7 64-bit also. It also sounds like you've tried re-installing the alternate ...

Re: New action System\Display Image
Hi Pako,
Indeed, no one comments on my English ?
This is weird, I know it's not worth anything.
Indeed, no one here is willing to do something for others for free ?
It's a shame because I would like to soon release a new version of the EG and I thought that there will be a corrected version.

Having trouble understanding a script behaviour
I'm having trouble with getting a script to work like I think it should. Essentially it is an adaptation of a script Pako offered in the forums some time ago ( http://www.eventghost.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2747&p=15789&hilit=find+window+position#p15789 ) concerning getting window coordinates ...
