I am using Find Window in a macro to find Windows Media Center. The next command is close window...because I want to close it before I open JRiver Media Center (opened by the same macro)...

Should just have to reboot. Make sure the service is installed, and reboot the laptop.

I have a general question...just got my remote last night, and it works great...so much so that I would like to get another one for my upstairs HTPC...question is, can you use 2 of these remotes in a home...the PC's are on different floors, but they are probably only 15-20 ...

After installing the MCE Remote plugin for Vista/7 ( see here ), and the associated background service, I found it easier to just add the HID registry keys back into the registry. This makes the remote control send commands to Media Center just like it did before I installed EG... plus, EG gets the ...

I am new to this, so sorry if this has been answered before...
I have a MCE remote and set up EventGhost to close window on the red button, and left mouse click on the green button...works fine until I reboot, then nothing works, and by nothing, I mean nothing on the remote...no green button, no ok ...

sorry if this has been covered...totally new to EventGhost...
i added the mce remote plugin for win 7, added an action to close window, and added event of the red button. did the same for the green button, which does a left click.
works fine until i reboot...then nothing works, not even the native ...
