Is it normal for EG to shutdown/close itself when the Power button on the MCE remote is pressed? OK, in folder Context folder\Keyboard emulation there is a macro Power -> Alt+F4 . You need to disable/change/delete it.
Edit: You should disable the Keyboard emulation folder when ever you are ...
