I've seemed to have figured it out myself before reading the replies. I'm not sure why but it works fine if you save it with the .xml extension typed. I guess we will have to go "old school" for a while. I'll follow this post to see if an update ever comes from this.

Windows 10 and EG

I wonder is anyone else is having problems saving an event ghost tree with the new windows 10 install. It tells me I don't have permission, even tried restart eg and running as admin. I am an admin on the machine. Thanks.
