I recently bought an mce receiver togehther with a remote. Pluged it in and it worked perfectly. I then loaded the Generic Plugin in Eventghost (release 1610) and it recognized :-)

thank you very much for your support. Not so many people using WIN8 for HTPC yet. We will see how long it takes :-) Win 7 is a good OS I think, regaridnig to Performance and reliability Win8 does a good :-)

Hi,
i used the remote under Windows 7 and after driver installatioon (which is automtically done by EG) it works great. Now I updated to Win 8 and this time the automatic driver installation fails.
Does someone here have a working driver?
