As for the edit, you are looking for "New Text Document (4).txt", which is not what you get when you first open Notepad.

I was wondering if cheap USB access points (example, but I wouldn't connect it to any network) might do the job, but your approach sounds cheaper, more efficient, and much more flexible.

I had to update the Windows title in your example ({*} - Notepad, test works), but I'm still getting the same error:

Not sure how to properly word this, but here goes.

I have a process which has various sub windows, each window having a RichText edit box. Example using the Find Window interface:


ProcessName.exe

- "RichEdit20A"

One more request. Would it be possible to add a TextCtrl to the 'Push' screen, so we can specify our own target with a variable (I'm basically trying to send a delayed reply after a 2nd event has been triggered)?

Is anyone else experiencing minor GUI issues? Some of the 'Actions' have some layout issues, where the recipient checkboxes are overlapping some of the UI elements.

Is it possible to tell ZoomPlayer to play a certain file? I see the 'Open' command, but I want to remotely start playing back a certain file.

It looks like the file gets deleted, then recreated by DropBox. So I guess you would have to try to delete the file you are watching and wait a few seconds. It should error out.

If this plugin is just a timed file reader, it shouldn't be an issue, but maybe it has a handle/lock on the file, which ...

More than helpful, since I am new to Python (and the way it is integrated into EventGhost), these examples are extremely helpful. The fact I can use dos commands makes this thread extremely valuable to me, as it opens a whole new world of options. Thanks!
