i could change the "communication device" to my usb-soundcard wich is connected to a 433mhz-converter to play a digital signal for controling my wireless sockets, but not ...

I don't think so... But you could use the SchedulGhost plugin to in combination with the EventGhost "play audio file" action to play a short quiet sound every 5 minutes to keep it awake, I guess.
Hmmm but how will you select the soundcard to play onto? Asuming the usb soundcard is not the default ...

i created two feature requests
- define output device when playing sound
and
- 433MhZ output plugin

i think the latter may be to abstract - depending on how expensive a regular, EG-compatible 433Mhz ...

using this dirty hack http://rurandom.org/justintime/index.php?title=Cheapest_ever_433_Mhz_transceiver_for_PCs one can create a 433Mhz "Transciever" very cheap.
However, it has no logic.

It would be really nice to have an output plugin to generate Signals for e.g. Intertechno remote Sockets or ...

i'm looking for a simple Task manager wich displays all windows and let my chose one using RETURN key.

Just like Ctrl-Alt-Tab in Windows8 but it has to problems:
- does not remove focus from current window so i cannot surely rebind the keys.
- cannot be startet by EG using keyboard ...

using the "keyboard" / "tastatur" plugin you can trigger an event by keystrokes.

However, if you turn on logging, this plugin will POSt ALL YOUR TYPED PASSWORDS INTO THE LOGwindow, wich creates an unnessecary security whole: anyone can turn your EG into a keylogger by 2 mouseclicks or ...

Well basically it's just a usb2serial adapter soldered into an hdmi slot, right?
How would you reconnect a regular usb2serial adapter?

You can reload EG on system.resume but youstill have to replug the usb-device, right?

So far it's a toy but not really useful in a "productive" living room (every time I want to show off my cool remote control it doesn't work XD)
