Thanks, I get it. Hoped there was a trick. Somehow my script above does the job of clearing it, I would just prefer to have those keys be sent to EG engine only, and not to whatever is on top.
Say, if the "Clear pending events" were clearing unreleased buttons that would've been swell.

Clearing events
System: WinXP SP2, EventGhost 0.3.6.1480 (and the current stable build does the same)
Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del and then Esc (to get back to Windows from the logout screen) gives the following in the log:
Keyboard.LCtrl
Keyboard.LCtrl+LAlt
Keyboard.LCtrl+LAlt+Delete
Keyboard.LCtrl+LAlt+Delete ...
