[SOLVED] Generic HID: "Fn" key not working with MX keyboard

Post by blackwind »

I have a Logitech MX3200 keyboard. Using the Generic HID plugin, I'm able to bind my media keys, but when I press the blue "Fn" key, I get "invalid index for dataIndexType 4139/652" in my EventGhost log. Pressing the blue "Fn" key in combination with any of the keys with which it's supposed to be used results in the same error, except with 4139 replaced with a different number.

Clearly, the plugin is recognizing these keys and is able to differentiate between them. Can we get a fix for this error so I can bind them as well?

Done. I believe this takes care of my final issue with EventGhost.

Working with my Logitech K700 (Revue) Keyboard, now EG can use they keys that are not meant to be used with FN.

This should be included in the official release.
