Hi,
I have slightly adapted the Igor USB plugin from Bitmonster to work as a plugin for the sconi USB V1, which is compatible with Igor USB. Copy the attached script to a folder named SconiPlug-USB and restart eventghost. This should make it available as a normal eventghost plugin. Before, you should also install the sconi driver available at http://www.myhtpc.de/tools/irshop/usb_girder_plugin.zip.
This should work both with the sconi USB and with Igor USB, but without the annoying dialog of the Igor driver.

As far as I know, the V2 Sconi (power or ultra sconi etc., do not confuse with this one) is a HID device and doesn't require additional drivers, so probably it will not work with the plugin posted here, but rather with your "generic HID" plugin of eventghost. If this is the case, I will rename my plugin from "SconiPlug-USB" to "SconiV1Plug-USB".
Another question: I am not sure if I posted the plugin in the correct forum, but posting it in the plugins forum was not possible. Maybe this thread can be shifted there?

Yes, the V1 Sconi is a non HID and requires a driver. It appears that the sconi V1 is nothing else than an IgorPlug USB, see http://forum.htpc-news.de/printthread.php?t=5960 (in German).This is the non HID version which needs a driver?

Thansk for that update! This is actually very helpful! However it doesn't work with the newest version of eventghost. so i edited the newer pluginversion. find it attached. i tried it and it works just fine. all credits to you and bitmonster!
EDIT: However, you can use a mixture of the sconi V1 driver and the igor-driver to make it work with the original plugin. i will attach these drivers too. Note: this is not a crack or anything, its a simple mixture of the scooni and the igor driver! (in fact, it's only the original igorUSB.dll replaced by the sconi.dll) this is not a big deal, but a very helpful trick i have been searching for a long time!

got some problems using my usb-sconi device with eventghost. I have used it before on girder with the igor-plugin. that works just fine, but i don't like girder at all. When i activate the igor-plugin on eventghost an error occurs what says that there is no igor-usb-driver installed. So nothing works! Do you have any hint for me. Please answer in very simple english so i can understand everything.

Last days i updated XP to Seven 64 bits and it seems i can't use this driver on my new OS.
Is there an updated driver which work with Seven 64 bits ?
