took me a minute there to figure out what you are trying to say.. You mean you are not getting an event (not action).

what you have logging turned on you can see a log for the data coming in from the pushbullet servers but no event is getting triggered.

Give me a bit to check into it.

and this is the information that is getting logged yes?

I do not see this in the logs you posted.

I need to see the logs of the actual data that is being received by the plugin in order to be able to determine what the cause of the problem is.

Hi, here is some image of what doesnt work. Hope it help

This time, I was able to get an Event when testing sending a note with Pushbullet and IFTTT. But I received it and worked only once??!

On the second try, as you can see on the image, no Event is associate with the Pushbullet note. I didnt change anything between the two test.

For the logs, is there a file somewhere with the Pusbullet plugings log? Because I though the log in the Eventghost main windows was what you needed and I posted it. Please let me know what I need to do to get you the log

I put the log from Evenghost main windows attached in a text file

Thanks!

ok cool so this is the actual response you are getting.

Code: Select all

17:27:08 PushBullet: Response = {u'chats': [], u'blocks': [], u'pushes': [{u'body': u'Start', u'iden': u'ujAEc0DdCp2sjz1Mck4hbg', u'created': 1549232829.275233, u'sender_name': u'IFTTT', u'awake_app_guids': [u'web-tbmc1og9qgog3jkneht6g4'], u'title': u'Google Voice Simple Commands', u'direction': u'incoming', u'modified': 1549232829.2962189, u'dismissed': True, u'client_iden': u'udprOCjAgjoR6nAG', u'receiver_email': u'EMAILREMOVED', u'active': True, u'receiver_iden': u'ujAEc0DdCp2', u'type': u'note', u'receiver_email_normalized': u'EMAILREMOVED'}], u'contacts': [], u'clients': [], u'devices': [], u'channels': [], u'texts': [], u'grants': [], u'accounts': [], u'profiles': [], u'subscriptions': []}
lets break down the data that is coming in and see if we can isolate the cause.

I am going to need one of these log entries for when it works. and then we can compare the data and see what the difference is. There has to be something there.

so this is what the data is going to look like after I break it down

Code: Select all

{
	u'chats': [],
	u'blocks': [],
	u'pushes': [
 {
 u'body': u'Start',
 u'iden': u'ujAEc0DdCp2sjz1Mck4hbg',
 u'created': 1549232829.275233,
 u'sender_name': u'IFTTT',
 u'awake_app_guids': [
 u'web-tbmc1og9qgog3jkneht6g4'
 ],
 u'title': u'Google Voice Simple Commands',
 u'direction': u'incoming',
 u'modified': 1549232829.2962189,
 u'dismissed': True,
 u'client_iden': u'udprOCjAgjoR6nAG',
 u'receiver_email': u'EMAILREMOVED',
 u'active': True,
 u'receiver_iden': u'ujAEc0DdCp2',
 u'type': u'note',
 u'receiver_email_normalized': u'EMAILREMOVED'
 }
	],
	u'contacts': [],
	u'clients': [],
	u'devices': [],
	u'channels': [],
	u'texts': [],
	u'grants': [],
	u'accounts': [],
	u'profiles': [],
	u'subscriptions': []
}

Now I can tell you this from what I see in the screen shots VS what you posted for incoming data. the sender name is off. In one of the screen shots the one where the event gets triggered.

Code: Select all

PushBullet.Note.Teest [u'test\n', None, u'ujAEc0DdCp2sjCMlqyMDca', u'IFTTT', '2016-03-02 22:18:32']
you can see the senders name in the payload for the event.

and this is from thee data you posted from the log.

Code: Select all

u'sender_name': u'IFTTT'

the name in the payload

Code: Select all

u'IFTTT'

is not the same as this

Code: Select all

u'IFTTT'
I am not sure if that would be the cause. But I would assume there has to be some kind of filtering somewhere in the plugin. I am not the one that wrote the plugin so I am not going to be able to know if that is what is done right off the top of my head. I would have to read the code to be able to find out.

But we can start off with you checking how things are being transmitted using IFTTT and make sure that everything is correct. Until i get the log entry for the response data I am not going to know 100%

You guys are going to have to give me a little bit of time to look into this..

If someone possibly has a newer version of the plugin please send me a PM and also attach the plugin in the PM so i can verify if it is newer or not. That would make my life a whole lot easier.

Hey guys. I am new to eventghost and push bullet. I seem to now have an option to download __init__.py as all the links in this threat seem to be expired. Is this forum the best place to get the latest file or should I look somewhere else?

We had an issue with our last server provider and some data was lost.. I am sorry for the inconvenience. I am hoping that someone will upload the last version. otherwise I am going to have to go back over and modify the plugin again.. It may be a few days until i get it done.
