Control Mediaportal AND Zoomplayer - Slow response

Post by josen »

Hello,

I'm having serious problems integrating MediaPortal and ZoomPlayer together with EventGhost. ZP together with EG works flawlessly.

I installed the Message Plugin in MP and installed the Plugin in EventGhost. Now I have the ZoomPlayer plugin there too.

When I have the ZP-Plugin above MP-Plugin I can control ZoomPlayer when its called by MP and everything works finde in ZP.
When I have the MP-Plugin above the ZP-Plugin I can't have multiple keypresses in ZP (automatic repeat from EG).

And every Input with my MCE Remote always takes ages (like two to five seconds) to get done in Mediaportal.
I guess both plugins are somehow interfering.

What can I do to make it work?

Thank in in advance!

Okay, stupid me. It works perfectly now :-)

Someone should state somewhere in a prominent place, that EventGhost is a very very powerful state machine. Makes it easier for a poor computer science student to understand it.

You found this via Google? Here we go:

You need a state transition (Read: Folder with Event) from exclusive mode of MediaPortal to ZoomPlayer (Filter on the start of ZoomPlayer with built-in Plugin)
and
You need a state transition (Read: Folder with Event) from exclusive mode of ZoomPlayer to MediaPortal (Filter on the close of ZoomPlayer with built-in Plugin)

You need the MP->ZP transition to be in the MP folder and the ZP->MP transition to be in the ZP folder.

Thats all. Simple as a mealy machine :)

Someone with a brain wrote a windows program. Awesome!

Greets,
