Hello All
I am a Newbie and would like to know if there is coding or a plugin to do the following:
I want to turn on my TV from my computer. The best thinking that I can come up with is to make a serial port IR blaster and use EventGhost to have the computer turn on the TV.
Anyone know how?

Typically options are Direct Serial connection, Ethernet, HDMI CEC ... or good'ol IR
