Configuring MCE remote mouse function

Post by Mike »

I have an MCE reciever and able learn signals such as numbers, channel change, volume etc... to work with Eventghost. However, I also want to use the left, right, up, down center buttons as a mouse, by using a toggle function. In short, i want to use a single button for two different function where an unused button on my remote should be used as a toggle/switch to achieve this operation.

Someone please help me how can I do this.

Thank you.

Just an idea but you could do that with the OSmenu. The only problem that i foresee is that it's very slow to use left/right/up/down buttons on the remote for mouse emulation, you will have to press multiple times

Download my xml here to have an idea of how to use the osmenu http://www.mediafire.com/?7q5viz5bj5l474i

What you could do is create an entry for mouse function in Os Menu: Show menu (call the pack part "mouse" for example)
that should give you the event: OSM.mouse
Then you add that event to the "Start Program:Souris" which will enable mouse emulation
