no remote after uninstall

hi there after trying and uninstalling EG, my remote is pretty messed up... its a cyberlink universal remote and work welll before this..
i have tried everything including system restore which worked but then after next reboot it went per shaped. itelliremote is seeing the key presses. but windows dosnt seem too as it did before..
ie the home button started mce... now nothing..

please help.

ive deleted the remote reg entrys.. and still nothing..

what can i do.

i also have a harmony 1000 wich was working.. using the cyberlink ir. but now nothing

ok got it sort of working... fluke!!
went to ehome and and clicked updatemceapp... and now my home button/green button on cyberlink. sets mce going..
some buttons dont work as they did. ie vol and mute.. not tested all yet..

any ideas

edit:
it turns out most buttons dont work... play stop volume etc.. al the important ones is it a regedit. if so were please

can no one help... ive got it to work by programing intelli remote... but without intelli remote nothing... my remote worked without it before id even heard of it...

please help
