trackpad has no windws drivers, but eventghost sees input?

Post by unvaluablespace »

So there is this remote from Sony's google tv player (Remotes are models NSG-MR5U & NSG-MR7U). It is a perfect little Bluetooth remote for A HTPC Setup. It actually works within windows (Windows 8 64-bit at least), the only issue is there is now working driver for the trackpad, so therefore windows does not see it. However, using the generic HID plugin in Eventghost, you can see that it IS working, as Eventghost sees every single touch on the remotes built in track pad as hundreds of inputs.

The question here is this: Since there currenly is no working driver, would it be possible to have Evenghost emulate a mouse with the trackpad function on the remote, since Eventghost sees it? If so, how? I notice there are numerous event actions for mouse input, but I am unsure of how to set it up to make it see the input and translate into motion on said trackpad. Any help on this would be much appreciated, as I highly doubt Sony is going to make working windows Drivers for this device themselves. Thanks
