Open a file with explorer.exe while in fullscreen mode

Greetings,

I have set up eventghost to open Belkin Nostromo loadout files (because nostromo support is non-existent) and have gotten all but fullscreen applications, such as games, to function properly. It works perfectly with applications like photoshop or maya and is set up like this:

I have tried every window option setting, and even tried having the nostromo loadout application open the files itself, but either way nost_lm.exe bugs out and eventually won't load new files. It works fine in an ordinary application, but anything fullscreen and it seems to load it incorrectly.
