Re: Has anyone made a plug-in for ELV products?
I'm planning to eventually build a plugin for the "FHZ 1000 PC" in the future, so a control of FS20 devices is possible. But I haven't ordered any devices yet.

Thank you very much for your generous donation. I've just ordered a FHZ 1000 PC and two receiving devices, so hopefully in a pair of days I can see what can be done with them.

The devices arrived yesterday and it wasn't hard to build a plugin-in for them. Seems to work quite nice so far.

That sounds very good. I have some German friends using those products, and I believe they are rather popular in Germany. I'm going to order too because they have some
interesting products that use WiFi to communicate between the units.
Best regards, Walter

Hello krambriw,
as I know, this devices dont use WiFi zu communicate between teh units, instead of 866 Mhz wireless communication.
@bitmonster: could you tell me, what devices you use, mainly the unit that is attached to the PC, and the receivers/dimmers that work with that?
best regards
Adrian

The PC transceiver is the "FHZ 1000 PC". I use an "FS20 DI" outlet dimmer and an "FS20 ST" outlet switch.

Re: Has anyone made a plug-in for ELV products?
Hi,
would the plugin be able to work with the "HMS-100" Gas- and temperature sensors or the "FHT 80b" heating control too, for bidirectinal use, and is getting data from theese sensors?
and if it does, do I have to buy the expensiv version "68-613-03" which seems to be different only by the software that is delivered with, or can I use this functions (maybe later bei extending the plugin) with the cheaper, normal version "68-388-78"?
I dont need to use the HMS and FHT features, yet, but the question is, if it is better to order the bigger version, to be able to use future features of the plugin.
or is it just a other software that is attached with the expensiver device, which is obsolet by using EG?
about the "FS20 DI"..... how many steps for dimming are directly implemeted, and is it possible to vary the speed of dimming to this steps?
sorry for this detailed questions, but I am waiting a long time for a RF control of dimmers via PC to replace my IKEA-KOPPLA.....
best regards

Re: Has anyone made a plug-in for ELV products?
You don't need the bigger set, as they only differ in the software. Since I currently don't have any sending device, the plugin has no receiving functionality now, but it would be possible to implement.
The dimmer has 16 steps and the dimming speed can be programmed (up and down speed separately). But the speed programming is done "by example". So you have to start the programming and stop it exactly in the time you want for the dimming speed. With a macro this is quite easy. By hand it can be stressful for short times.
