Is there a future chance that the apple remote will talk to EventGhost now that the BootCamp drivers are supporting this for WINDOWS?

I don't know. If the driver is HID based, there is a small chance it is already working with the HID plugin.

I've been trying this out, and it kinda works, but not in a useful way.

Here are the buttons and the codes that show up in the log:
Play/Pause (middle circle) = HID.000400000000
Next (Right arrow) = HID.000800000000
Prev (Left arrow) = HID.001000000000
Volume - (bottom minus) = HID.000000000000
Volume + (top plus) = HID.000000000000
Menu (lower circle) = HID.000000000000

Holding any button triggers its code followed by repeated HID.000000000000

I'm very interested in getting this to work, so let me know if I can help in any way.

The driver doesn't deliver unique events for the volume and menu keys.

I have an HID keyboard that registers as several HID devices. On one device some buttons send the same code, while on the other device they are distinct, so to get Event Ghost to uniquely recognize all the HID buttons on the keyboard, I needed to check all three devices. Maybe the Apple Remote does something similar, you might check for alternate HID devices listed...

By multiple devices, do you mean you have more than one item listed in the windows device manager?

Both device manager and the HID plugin in EventGhost. In the screenshot below the highlighted devices all correspond to one physical HID device, my wireless keyboard. Key presses from the physical device register differently for each of the three devices displayed in EventGhost and Device Manager. If the Apple Remote when connected creates multiple HID devices in that list, you might try seeing if you can get a unique signal from one of the other listed devices.
