Eventghost turns yellow in Systems Tray and freezes.

Post by Warpig17 »

I ran eventghost for over a year without any problems but one day it went back to the default "example" file and I had to redo the configuration. Now when I do a command about 2/3 of the time it will execute it and then the eventghost icon turns yellow in the taskbar and will no longer work. Then I have to go to task manager to exit the program. Any help? I'm using version 4.01r1700 and Windows 8.1. Here's one of the main commands I use:

Macro: Start XBMC.
Event: Keyboard CTRL+Alt+C
Action: Start Program XBMC.exe (With "wait until application is terminated before processing" checked)
Action: Wait 0.4 seconds. (I was told it helps to put add a little wait time in a macro)
Action: Find Window XBMC
Action: Bring to Front

If you saved the old config with another name then the "Example" you might still have it somewhere.
Action: Start Program XBMC.exe (With "wait until application is terminated before processing" checked)
The "Wait until..." option makes EventGhost wait until XBMC is closed so EventGhost will be "frozen" until you close XBMC.
