Hi, I have an android app that works under Windows thanks to bluestacks. There are some commands from the app I would like to use with eventghost.
Can someone point me to the right thread or a tutorial how this is done? It's important to me.
thank you very much

Re: how do I create a plugin from an android app?
I have no idea how to do that. I think your description is too short and cryptic for anybody to help you.
Re: how do I create a plugin from an android app?
well, I have nothing cryptic going on, let me explain in more detail then:
My understanding is - "if there is an app for it, you can make it work with Eventghost". I read that statement somewhere.
Assuming this is correct, I would like to use an Android app for VPN and ultimately change a country by pushing a button on my xbox controller rather than going into the app and doing this by hand.
I hope this does make it clearer. I am grateful for your help guys, so please let me know if you need more info.
thank you!

I honestly didn't realize that this is such a tough question. There are so many plugins already available. So how do you create one from an iPhone or Android app?
Please guys help!

Re: how do I create a plugin from an android app?
You will need an android app(s) that communicates with eventghost like Tasker and AutoRemote.....this may work for a traditional Android device if the app you are using has 1) tasker integration or 2) you can click items with Autoinput 3) you have root to use tasker click on screen action. I have not used bluestacks since the beta over a year ago so I'm not sure if this will work on a PC running bluestacks..... If EG and Bluestacks are on the same machine can you just use the mouse move and click from eg?

Hi Javier, thank you for caring! I am having a feeling this is going to work
But I am not too sure I understood your last question. What do you mean by

I also don't have to use Bluestacks. It is just a way to use the Android app from a Windows PC. There is also a Website that does exactly what the Android app does. I don't know if that would make it easier (or impossible).Javier wrote:can you just use the mouse move and click from eg?

Re: how do I create a plugin from an android app?
This may be easier (or less complicated). Use EG to open the browser, go to website, click what needs to be clicked...I did this in the past with the hulu website to automatically start a video in the playlist on command.3000 wrote: There is also a Website that does exactly what the Android app does. You may also want to check if the website supports changing your settings with an HTTP Get actions, which would be even easier.
Re: how do I create a plugin from an android app?
thank you! Can you tell me a bit more about HTTP Get actions? where can I find a bit more info about that? I couldn't really find something useful.
thank you very much!

You may want to ask this question in a forum that supports the web service with which you are trying to connect. If it is not possible you could always use my first suggestion.
