Eventghost hindering shutdown on Windows 10

To put it simply, on the logoff screen of Windows 10 I get a notification that Eventghost is preventing shutdown because I have unsaved data that I'll lose if I proceed. The thing is that I could have made no alterations to my EG config since booting up, and the save option is greyed out to prove that and I'll still get the same notification come time to shut down. So, what gives?

It all depends on what plugins and other stuff you have added to your configuration. So you need to visualize that, then there might be a better chance people can advice.

As example, several plugins are using what is called threads. An unfinished thread, normally invisible, could very well prevent EG from closing down

Well, I have a few plug-ins running. There's the Generic HID Plugin (with delay) that is connected to an Xbox 360 controller. There's a scheduling plugin configured to trigger a small burst of infrasound once every 3 minutes of so (this is to keep my wireless headphones awake, which have an annoying auto-shutoff 'feature'). XBMC 2 is running as well as Audioendpoint, although I don't actively use that one at the moment. My (un)educated guess, at this point, would be to suspect the scheduling plugin.
