Debugging performance - system hanging occasionally
Debugging performance - system hanging occasionally
What sort of procedures are recommended to debug the performance of EG? I have a few timers and broadcasts along with a few plugins like x10, usbuirt, webserver, suntracker. Every now and then, EG "hangs" and doesn't process commands for sometimes several minutes. I have to close and restart then it works again. Other than disabling one macro at a time to eliminate the offender, is there any way of "seeing" what's going on behind the scenes to cause these delays? Also, are the macros multi-threaded - if one macro is waiting to "find" something, does that hold up all other macros from running?

run EventGhost from the command line with the -debug switch...
it will save debugging information to c:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\appdata\roaming\EventGhost\log.txt
