I read some other threads on the forum that suggest the vista support for this plugin could be improved. Am I doing something wrong or is there another way to do this in vista.
Thanks
I should add some system info.
EG 0.3.6.1484
Vista Home Premium and Vista Ultimate pre SP1 on both
No A/V or software firewall

Thanks Bitmonster! That works perfect. Now searching the forum again I find the answer posted in a couple places. Just laziness I guess. While I was waiting I created a transparent Volume OSD in case anybody else wants to use it. It's just an exe that I run at startup and it can be exited from the system tray. It uses the Vista progress bar to emulate the current volume and mute status. Its semitransparent and will show at the bottom middle of your screen.
To call up the OSD you have to send Ctrl+F22 and it will display for a couple seconds. So I basically just added a the Ctrl-F22 keystroke emulation in EG after my volume changes.

Nice Tyborg,
Just what I have been looking for.
Now the great big question...Can it be made to work in XP? Right now it'll pop up On Screen in XP when I use EG & Ctrl-F22 keystroke but it will only show 100% on bar. It's like it isn't connected to the system and doesn't know what my volume level is.
Any help would be thanked.
I'll thank ya again anyways...Thanks.
