Hi All,
I'm running EventGhost_0.3.7.r1016 on Win7 RC1 32-bit
I made a macro to launch XBMC when i send *, but whenever my system idles it also launches XBMC. I have made a comment macro that should stop System.Idle and System.UnIdle, yet whenever either of these appear I still end up with XBMC loading, even when I don't want it.
Any suggestions?

Actual the asterisk in a event name is a wildcard. In this case a plugin shouldn't be generate a event containing the asterisk character.

I don't understand your implementation. Which plugin is generating the event asterisk? Prinz is right, if you respond to "*", any event will trigger your macro. The only thing I wanted to add is if that is what you WANT (probably isn't), you can simply disable the "Plugin: Task Create/Switch Events" from autostart, which will stop EG from generating the idle events.
More likely, you want to change the event to "Star" and make sure your the name of the remote controls event is "Star", or better yet watch what the event name is when you press the correct button on your remote and just drag and drop that to your macro.
