Thanks for your offer, but I really think its a problem with the PID/VID of the device that seems to have been customized by the retailer to work with his tv box systems. Unless I can find a way to reset the pid/vid / firmware of the device I dont think I can use it - and as mentioned tools to do that dont detect the device.

what is the hardware ID for the receiver??

if you have the tira-4, and i do not know if it is even out yet.
