I'm thinking of switching from Girder to EventGhost. I have it installed and added the Meedio plugin and added some macros and assigned them my remote functions.. However, none of the meedio ones work. I know I'm doing something wrong but don't know what it is..

There is what I have.. The launch meedio one works but once I'm in Meedio the other ones I created (arrows) don't work.

Ideas? Thanks!

You should use latest beta version and see if your problem persists.
Get it here http://www.eventghost.org/downloads

You do not have anything in the tree that switches the context mode to Meedio. You should put your Meedio controls in the context folder. Then you need to make a macro that switches to the Meedio mode when it is created or activated. Take the start Meedio macro out of your Meedio controls as well and place it in the root of the tree. I usually put all those types of launchers near the top of my tree.

Thanks for the reply kricker..

How do I do this "Then you need to make a macro that switches to the Meedio mode when it is created or activated." ?

@tbird2340: In Meedio, have you enabled the fulltime plugin "HW Command"? (http://www.meedio.com/WebHelp/wm_command.htm)

I've been using EG successfully with the Hauppauge remote through my HD-PVR controlling Meedio v well for about 8-9 months, but for some reason the last few weeks the Hauppauge remote stops working after about 30mins, without any errors coming up in the EG log.

I suspect this is a Hauppauge error, as it works once I shut down EG, reboot the HD=PVR and restart EG, but has anyone else had this problem?

Has anyone created a MeediOS plugin for EG yet?

I would watch this thread, as Shawn Bass (one of the MeediOS developers) has been working on it.
