In der neusten Beta gibt es die -configdir Option von der Kommandozeile aus. Damit wird ein anderer Ordner zum speichern der Einstellungen verwendet. Vielleicht hat dein Rechner tatsächlich ein Problem mit Sachen in Dokumente&Einstellungen, wenn der Rechner gerade heruntergefahren wird. Also such dir mal einen anderen Platz aus, wie C:\EventGhostConfig und ändere dann die Shortcut-Parameter auf:
EventGhost.exe -configdir "C:\EventGhostConfig"
Mal sehen, ob es dann auch noch passiert.

prima, habe ich jetzt seit ein paar Tagen laufen und bisher kam das Problem nicht wieder

Aber schon irgendwie komisch. Ist an der Kiste irgendwas umgebaut im Vergleich zu einem normalen XP? Roaming-Profiles oder sowas?

n├Â, es ist ein ganz normales xp prof, allerdings englische Installation auf deutsch eingestellt.
