Yes, r1610 did not behave this way? I tested versions 1610, 1630, 1638, and 1640 again. I can confirm problem starts in 1630.

Yes, I agree notepad.exe works. I had also tested cmd.exe and VirtualHouse.exe and all seem to work.

The problem is related to nircmd.exe which I use extensively in my configuration.

I think I have a workaround. If I run Start Application action with the Window option "Hidden", the macro seems to work as expected.
But I still can't understand why it would not work as before.

I use nircmd with .1630 without issue.
