That's all? No plugin install window? EventGhost is not starting and doesn't show any debug output in the log area?

EG was already running. Do you want me to try when not running? I tought we had to install plugin when EG was running.

Both should work. EG running and not. Please try again without EG running and use line with the -debug parameter.

Here you can see what happens. I have copied the log file also under here:
I just want to mention that the plugin file is located on the desktop, and not in C: Eventghost plugin folder.

Hmmm, that's interesting: why does EG try to load the egplugin-file from C:\Windows?
Code: Select all
PluginInstall.Import(filepath=u'C:\\Windows\\rfxtrx_v2.0.2.egplugin')
Is the file
rfxtrx_v2.0.2.egplugin really in that directory?

No its not, I have searched in this directory. No EG plugin files in there. But as you can see I have tried to opened
it in this directory!
I will try one more time. This time i C: directory and not Windows directory!

OKi here is a second try. I found out that the link you gave me was wrong. I deleted the .Egplugin in the link and it worked.
As you can see in my picture the .Egplugin is not in the name of this plugin. The plugin file is located in uper left in picture.
You can see in the picture what happend, the Eventghost plugin Icon startet on the taskbar or what ever you call it. See arrow bottom right corner
in picture.

Can a moderator please move the posts for the above problem discussion into a new thread? It's not a problem with RFXtr instead with eg 4 and plugin install.
I tried to reproduce it on my system. Installed 0.4.1r1722 and tried to install the plugin. I get an error with the -debug switch. That's good

because i now know where i can look. Thank you kalinkamaen.
