ARC protocol
ARC is the protocol used by different brands with units having code wheels A-P/1-16:
KlikAanKlikUit, NEXA, CHACON, HomeEasy, Proove, DomiaLite, InterTechno, AB600
Ok thats clear so I just select the option for X10 Lightning, ARC, ELRO etc.. Thx.

KlikAanKlikUit has two types.

The older KAKU with address codes wheels (A-P/1-16) use the ARC protocol.
The new KAKU with learning mode (order codes start with A) use the AC protocol. However the new KAKU can also be controlled using the ARC protocol but it is preferred to use the AC protocol. The ARC protocol does not have the set dim commands and when two ON commands are send the dim module will start a dim cycle until another ON or OFF command is send.

Thanks for your info.
I currently use X10 devices, for controlling them I use with X10 Commander from Melloware and EventGhost. I am considering to change to the KAKU devices (good price and more choices).
What I also need is the ability to Query the KAKU devices for their status and use this feedback information in my Touchcontrol remote app. This works now with the X10 devices (more or less).

Is it also possible to control my Somfy (RTS) sunblinds with the RFXcom? I saw that this is possible with the ÔÇ£homewizardÔÇØ appliance by learning the code from the Somfy remote.

KAKU cannot be polled for a status, it is one-way communication!

See the list of supported devices at http://www.rfxcom.com/transceivers.htm#12103
If a device is not in this list it is not supported.

Remotes are not supported yet, I did not see this as a huge need but maybe there are many users that needs that?

Yes, but it doesn't automatically mean that it is supported in my plugin. I do this for free without any payment so it is my decision when/if I can reserve time to implement it. It is in fact a several hours of work to add support for the remotes. I will start looking into the topic, be sure, but it will take some time. Once I am ready with a first version, it would be great if you could try it. First version will most likely support receieving of signals from the remote. Final version will also be able to transmit.

Best regards, Walter

No problem, here is a first beta version that should create events when you press the remote buttons (ATI, Medion, PC Remote). Each event can then be used the normal way (drag into a macro with actions). See to that you have enabled ATI with RFXMNGR before you start EG.

I do not have any remote so I could not test anything. Let me know how it works...and if we need to change the format of the events somehow.

I have also included the support for some thermostats (HE105 and RTS10) wished earlier

I don't understand this

I create event Vol+ and Vol- with 10% and attribute the key Vol+ and Vol-

When I make a long pressure only one action.
