I loaded __init__.py and vrc1100.xml into eg 0.4.1.r1544, and while the cursor is in the eg window the mouse works, but if I move the cursor outside of the eg window, the cursor jumps to the upper left corner of the desktop and stays there. If I then use the mouse pad, the cursor tries to move away from the corner of the window, but immediately gets moved back. Has anyone else seen this happen on Windows 7 64bit? The mouse events are still showing up in the log window after the cursor gets stuck in the corner.
I'm running eg as administrator, and both of the Auvisio drivers are installed.
Thanks in advance

Either the XBMC2 plugin is missing or the GUID number don't match between your EventGhost config and the XBMC2 plugin.
Are you using someone else's EventGhost config or have you updated EventGhost recently?
You can try the latest version of the XBMC2 plugin
here (put it in
EventGhost\Plugins\XBMCRepeat).
You might need to change the GUID in you config, more info
here.

I don't believe so.

i now use the latest version of the XBMC2 plugin as you recommanded
but i cant find config.xml
change the GUID in your config
So some people might need to change the guid that is in EventGhosts config by editing the config.xml directly and use this guid:
CODE: SELECT ALL
{8C8B850C-773F-4583-AAD9-A568262B7933}
jonib
i have replaced it in the vrc1100.xml ( beleive it was the same) but still the same message.

That just meant the config file you are using with EventGhost not necessarily named Config.xml
i have replaced it in the vrc1100.xml ( beleive it was the same) but still the same message.
Hmm, would you mind testing to create a new EventGhost config (File->New) and adding in the XBMC2 plugin, and see if that works then post both config files.

I have the issue that hitting "mute" does only mute in 1 sec and then sound is back on?
What about the possibility change soudscards can it be done by hitting one key? As I have 3 soundscard in my PC then it would be nice!

If you are using the latest EG version (r1572) there is a new feature for OnScreenMenu (OSM) that makes some of this plugin's menus not acquire window focus by default. I plan to release an update to this plugin shortly that should fix it. <EDIT> Done and uploaded at the beginning of the thread.

Hi, i'm using your great script, it's awesome! I also made some changes to customize it for me (for example if i'm in xbmc and i press power it don't show the general shutdown menu, but the xbmc specific one), but i don't understand how can i do a space with your keyboard, usually space is assigned to 0 but there isn't...

First of all, big thanks to everybody who helped with this. I also develop software so I really can see the work you did there!
So,
Im having trouble with the Auvisio VRC-1100 plugin.
My OS is Win7 64bit Pro.
My problem is that the original drivers of the remote aren't removed when EvenGhost installs its own drivers.
This is it how it goes down:
It says: " Do you want to download the drivers?"
I say yes.
It downloads everything, really cool.
It asks if I want to install the drivers
I say yes.
The drivers are installed, it says " Drivers are installed succesfully".
I say "Ok".
Now it asks again if I want to install the drivers
I say yes.
The drivers are installed, it says " Drivers are installed succesfully".
I say "Ok".
Now it asks again if I want to install the drivers
I say yes.
The drivers are installed, it says " Drivers are installed succesfully".
I say "Ok".
Now it asks again...
... and so on.
Still, when I press a button on my remote, it still works as before and no event is shown in the log window.
I bought the whole remote&receiver just to use it with EventGhost to control my PC, so I really want to get this running.
Is there some kind of manual installation or any other solution for this? Any help is highly appreciated.
However, if there is no solution whatsoever, can you recommend a IR Receiver that will definatley work for me? I use a Logitech Harmony One Remote, so I should get it running.
Can someone help me please ?
Greetings
sHs

Hi,
i used the remote under Windows 7 and after driver installatioon (which is automtically done by EG) it works great. Now I updated to Win 8 and this time the automatic driver installation fails.
Does someone here have a working driver?
Thanks and Regards,
S
