The thanks actually go to you.
It would be the best to create a thread and include the plugin in the official EG distribution.
You may mention whatever you see fit.
I will also try to test mouse movements a little bit more.
But I also suggest choosing the right name. Official one is X10 Wireless Mouse Remote, or shorter, X10 MouseRemote.

the name could be changed easily. and i like to mention the person/people that helped in creation and or testing. because without that i wouldn't get anywhere

i do not have the ability to test this thing. i do not own one of those remote. but as a start it all works and i am sure in time if others use it i will be able to fine tune the mouse.

or even learn how to get the rest of the data from the hex sets. because all mice run the same way. i just need to learn how to decode the bits for movement. because there are 2^24 possible combinations. so the speed and acceleration is in there also. i just can't seem to find the information on how to decode it

I have tested mouse movements, and it works ok, also the angle for diagonal movements is not always 45.
But the cursor always accelerates, even when I set the value for acceleration to 0.
Besides, the extra event (movement x=0, y=0) when pressing mouse buttons is still present.

I also tried setting long press delay & reset both to 0.001, and it still sometimes detects multiple button presses as long press.
There is no way I am able to press buttons faster than 1000 times a second! Seems like some kind of measuring inaccuracy?

there has to be an acceleration factor, it cannot be a 0. that's just how it work with windows. because if you dont' accelerate you don't go anywhere. LOL

as far as the event happening when you press the mouse buttons. i have a version where that is fixed. so i will post that up for you later on when i go through the code and find out what's going on with the timers, i have to look at how i did it exactly in c++ and mimic the code exactly in python i tried to do it from memory. it's gonna take a day for me to handle it.

one other thing. i am going to expose the controls for the mouse that way you can tinker with dialing it in if you want. if i had one of these remotes i would be able to just spit out a working product. so i do apologize for the glitches and problems. but hey at least it fixed the original problem of dropping data. LOL

so you will have to give me a day. i am also going to expose how the timings are done. that way you can change the values pretty easily. every remote is different in it's timings and how fast they fire repetitive commands and if they even do it at all. so there is always a learning curve.

That's actually the most important thing that was needed!)
