Find Frontmost Window Actually Uses "Active Window"

Post by PooFox »

This is probably by design, but for those of us who have enabled window activation to follow mouse focus, it's misleading. It's a problem for me because i have escape key set up to close frontmost window. However, it's actually closing the window my cursor is over, which is never what I want it to do. Any way we can set this up to find the window at the top of the stack instead of assuming that the active window is on top?

Another solution would be to add an option for finding the active window as compared to the topmost or frontmost window.

Thanks, this is great software.
