I'm not sure if this exists or can be done. I've looked around EG and the closest thing I've seen was using the "exclusive enable" function. However thatÔÇÖs more of a toggle since you have to go through all the actions set to get to the one you want, if you have multiple actions or macros configured.

How I feel this should work, would be by having an action whereby you can set a specified amount of time along with a specified amount of key presses (events) set for the individual actions of your desire.

For example, I would like to have the Num9 button on my remote configured so:

1 button press within 3 seconds activates specified action A

2 button presses within 3 seconds activates specified action B

3 button presses within 3 seconds activates specified action C

4 button presses within 3 seconds activates specified action D

and so forth, for however many presses are possible within the configurable amount of time.

I think this would be great when you're limited on remote buttons and want to easily activate several different items by only using one button.

If this is possible with the latest EG, please let me know the action or technique required for this type of functionality.

Thanks for the development of this fantastic app.

You can use the Multitap plugin and its mode of "Single Key".

Wow! Thanks pako. I didn't even think to check plugins for such a feature.

I just configured an event with Multitap, and it works better than expected. The OSD makes this feature fantastic!

Thanks for the advice and development of this plugin! :D

Would you mind sharing how you got Multitap to trigger events as you described in your first post? I'm trying to do the same thing and having trouble.

Thanks,
