VLC 2.0 plugin

Is there a plugin for the latest VLC? How can I load a disc once inserted using the remote? Wile playing a movie from DVD if I press stop on the remote it will stop ,but how can I resume playing?

If I know, for the new version of VLC (2.0) the original VLC plugin working in the full scope

Either
VLC media player: Simulate hotkey press: Play only
or
VLC media player: Simulate hotkey press: Play/Pause
or
VLC media player: My Command: play
