[Windows] EventGhost - Lost initial XBMC Setup Settings

Post by a_team »

Hi:

I setup my XBMC with all the Repos, Add-ons, and Library Links that I wanted. I then started using EventGhost to launch XBMC on windows Log-in, but the issue I'm encountering is that when Eventghost launches my XBMC, it doesn't have ANY of the settings that I just spent all day setting up. It's as if it's a fresh install. I will exit out of it, launch XBMC off the desktop icon and everything is back. I'll exit it, use the EventGhost launch protocol and it has no settings.

What's going on? Do I need to set everything back up and re-install everything in the EventGhost launch? Is there a fix?

Thanks in advance!

Check the parameters the icon uses to start XBMC and put those same in the macro in EventGhost that starts XBMC.

XBMC can store it's profile in different places based on how its started.

I did a Newb Mistake:

I used "-p" which was starting it in Portable Mode.
