Conceptronics remote control driver

Often during watching movies the Conceptronics remote control driver hangs up.
E. g. I press the pause button, later on I longer press the volume up or down buttons but EventGhost always handles the pause button instead. To get rid of this problem I have to turn Windows to hibernate mode, power off the system and resume from Standby.
Any help is highly appreciated!
