All,

*Initial Release Notes*
I have stripped down the Lutron RadioRA2 plugin, and created an Envisalink Vista TPI plugin. Envisalink is a third party internet gateway module for Honeywell Vista / Ademco / ADT security panels. This is a very simple version, but it has the basic functions covered:

* Generate events for system status changes
* Command to Arm Away
* Command to Arm Stay
* Command to Off
----------------------
*Version 1.02 Release Notes*

*Restructured Core incoming data processing code - should improve an issue where the incoming data is occasionally run together
*Added "Authenticated" event, and better error handling when commands are attempted before the login process is complete
*Added Icon
*Cleaned up code

Cheers

I am new to EventGhost and don't have a real good understanding of ports in general, so please pardon my stupidity if this a dumb post. I installed the EventGhost program on laptop running XP. I changed to Envisalink Vista TPI settings to the IP address with the username and password the same as i use to access the board directly. I left the port 4025. I tried to arm stay and get envisalink.connected followed immediately with envisalink.connectedLost. The Vista panel is unaffected and I don't see any changes with the Envisalink either, TPI status remains offline with no client. I then set my router up for port 4025 forwarding on the envisalink IP address. I tried arming stay and still get the same results. Any ideas/suggestions?

This has got me completely baffled. I updated the plugin. Still no go. I then went into debug mode and everything starts working. I armed stay but then as soon as I go out of debug, the connection is closed. I tried the telnet command o xxx.xxx.x.xx [4025] and all I get is a message Connecting to xxx.xxx.x.xxx....Could not open connection to the host, on port [4025] Connect failed. I get this same message even when your plugin is connected and working.

I'm also confused by the Raw Command. I though it would work when I entered a command and then hit apply or enter. The only button that seems to work is the test button. Why is that?

The Envisalink i have is connected to the internet and is up to date. I figured out my problem was the [] around the port number. I now get to the point where I get the login: promp. As oon as a type the first number of my password, I get the fail message and the connection closes. Is there a trick to typing in the password?
