Secure Eventghost

I would really like to be able to password protect eventghost from being opened while it's running. So in other words when it is running in the taskbar, you would need to enter a password to open the eventghost application window.

I use eventghost on a HTPC that also serves as a security system. I need to leave the desktop open and unprotected to make it a convenient HTPC and since I use eventghost to implement security functions having it open presents a slight security issue. I wouldn't be surprised if others aren't in a similar situation as me or at least would appreciate the ability to lock down eventghost.

I considered running eventghost as a different user but I imagine it would be a problem since eventghost wouldn't be able to interact with the desktop of the HTPC user. I guess if anyone has a suggestion to a workaround to accomplish what I am trying to accomplish I am all ears. But I would be more than happy with a simple solution.

Thanks

I run it as a service on my machines, the only way to change anything is to log in as administrator and launch EG manually.

I use XYNTservice to launch EG as a service. Works awesome.
