Lirc Server ?

First, thnx for this great piece of software, nice work...but..
Are there any chances that a Lirc Server (generator) plugin to be seen soon ?
I already started to look at the lirc receiver plugin but i dont understand much, i don't think i have the necesary skills to mod it to a lirc generator plugin. But for someone that already knows python it should not be very hard, there are already network sender and lirc receiver plugins. Probably jinxdone would be the right person to do this but unfortunately his last visit here seems to be in July...
I need this for my dvb-s watching software, Dvbdream, but i see lirc compatibility in many programs, so this should open a large area o software to automate from eventghost.
