Hi all
This feels like a stupid question as I can't see anything similar (that I understand) in the forum.
Can I use EventGhost to create a game pad from a Number pad?
Having seen the costs involved in buying a dedicated gamepad and not being a huge gamer I see little point in buying something for £80.
In addition, I'm a Geordie and so, if I can do the job with a £10 numpad off ebay and a clever bit of software.
The only problem I envisage is how to get the game to recognise the software.
The game I always play is Dark Crusade - Dawn of War (retro ay?) but it's a pain in the arse using a whole keyboard for the need of only 8 of the buttons.
Have a good day all.

Creating a gampad with a Numpad
Re: Creating a gampad with a Numpad
You might be able to with EventGhost but I think Autohotkey would be more suitable for this kind of remapping. I use it with a lot of games where I can't configure the controls the way I like it.Eviledna wrote:Can I use EventGhost to create a game pad from a Number pad?
Can't you remap via the games settings? (ingame or maybe via it's config files)The game I always play is Dark Crusade - Dawn of War (retro ay?) but it's a pain in the arse using a whole keyboard for the need of only 8 of the buttons.
