I am trying to convert over to the Sony Bluetooth remote so I can avoid the problems with the IR input that suffers from interference from my plasma TV.

There are two issues:
1. The volume up and down buttons on the remote do not appear in eventghost. All of the other buttons I have tried work as expected.

2. Although not directly related to eventghost, when my computer goes to sleep, whe I resume, the bluetooth remote is no longer paired. I actually have to power sycle the computer for the remote to work again.

Appreciate any thoughts on how I can get past these issues.

I know I am a bit late, but I can answer your questions :

You use the V2 remote. Volume Buttons can only send ir commands. The V2 remote is known to loose pairing quiet often.

I personnaly use the V1. It has no volume buttons, but I use the small steps one. Some others uses L1/L2 or R1/R2. It's up to you.

The V1 has no pairing issue.
