Can I use Network Event Sender to send to the trigger IP?

I really hate that there's a limit on characters in the subject on this old board software! That means that I'm unable to really say what I want to know. The actual question is:

Is it possible to use Network Event Sender to send to the same IP that triggers the action? Perhaps with Python? I have several phones that will send events to EG (from EGRemote), and instead of having one instance of Network Event Sender for each phone and one macro for each phone (so not all phones are told that the oven in my daughter's room is turned on) I would simply like to have the Network Event Sender shoot the response to the phone that it got the trigger/event from. So is this possible?

Unfortunately, the current version does not have this feature.
You can try TCPEvents : A better Network Event Receiver/Sender plugin.
I have not tried it, but there would probably be possible.

Thanks! It does send to variables, so that's working nicely. It just doesn't work with EG Remote. I have mailed the developer of EG Remote and have an answer already. I'm sure it can be fixed. :)
