Is it possible to target an event with Timer.TimerAction and send payload along with it?

No, this plugin has no possibility to specify the payload.
Maybe SchedulGhost plugin could replace this function.

Just started looking at ScheduleGhost. The Egg Timer functionality seems perfect, but not sure if it can pass payload with the event either.
