Hi all,
I've been using EG for years and it's been pretty good so far. But in the last month or so I've ran into an issue I can't seem to figure out.
When EG is shut down it does not shut down all the way which prevents me from starting a new instance of EG unless I manually go to Task Manager and kill the task. I have not updated EG and I've disabled all plugins to make sure it's not a plugin and it still does it. Has anyone else had this problem and figured out how to fix it? I'm at a loss on how to debug this right now, especially when all plugins are disabled and this still happens. And I am trying to close/exit EG from File -> Exit.
I'm running Windows 8.1 right now.

Re: EventGhost won't shut down completely
Sorry, can't help there. Just wanted to tell that it's the same for me. But on my sys it will exit eventually but I'll have to wait like 2 minutes.
I think there was something like a debug mode for eg. If I remember correctly you'll have to start it with -d. You might find how to do it in the eg docu/command line.

A hanging thread is something I know can prevent the application to close down.
