android widget plugin?

Hi!

i use a tellstick duo to switch on and off lights in my home, what i wonder is if there are any eventghost plugins that can be controlled by a android smartphone, what i ask for is an app that i install in my android phone that have widgets that i can put on my home screen, i want a simple on and off switch/widget.

is this possible?

I think the easiest solution is to use Tasker and Pushbullet. Tasker lets you create shortcuts for any action. Pushbullet then transferred command to Eventghost.

I realized, that here might be even easier solution. And - it's completely free!
You will need Pushbullet account, IFTTT account and application DO button by IFTTT.

You must connect Pushbullet and IFTTT. Then you have to create two applets "Sends a Pushbullet notification" (Lights On and Lights Off).
Finally, you have to put on the desktop (on a smartphone) two "DO button" widgets and assign the appropriate applets to them.
In Eventghost you must (of course) to install Pushbullet plugin.

If you're going to need more detailed instructions for any of the steps, I can do it.

I use tasker to do this, you can do it a couple of ways:

1. Eventghost, AutoRemote and tasker
2. Eventghost, Webserver and tasker.

Number 1:

This solution also works when you are not connected to your wi-fi network. You use tasker to send an event to autoremote - this sends to EG if you are on the same network or google chrome if not - and then from google chrome to EG.

Number 2:

You must have the webserver setup, in tasker you then use HTTP get commands.

EG: 10.0.0.90:2020/ajax.html?lights.0

Same as pako - I can write a more detailed step by step if you require.

PS: This is not free, tasker and autoremote cost money for pro version.
