I have written a plugin to use the onboard reciever of the newer technotrend Budget PCI cards.
I have trested the plugin with a C-1501 DVB-C card and an two rc5 remotes. But according to the technotrend driver api it should work with any technotrend budget cards, even usb.

t oacces the DVB card you need a driver-api-dll from the technotrend BDA-Driver-SDK called "ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll" i'm not shure if i'm allowed to upload this file here.
You can get this file from an dvbviewer installation or from the dvnviewer-forum
the plugin have no configuration and uses the first budget

the first technotrend dvc-c budget card ist used if multible cards are installed in the system.

i would like to use this plugin but i can't add it to my configuration (doesn't show up in the list of available plugins). I copied the plugins .py file and the dll to a separate folder under plugins (tt1501). When i startup eventghost it show to messages in the log windows to the right with the message "Technotrend C-1501".

I'm using the newest beta 0.3.6.1487.

I encounterded the same problem today. To make the plugin work with the actual release of EventGhost I had to modify the registration routine.

I hope this is OK with mastalee. Thank you for your excellent work!

To install the plugin perform following steps:

- Create a new subfolder of your choice in the plugins directory
- Place the attached .py file in that folder
- Unzip the ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll from the link in the first post and place it in the same subfolder

Once EventGhost is started the new plugin can be selected from the plugins menu.

ich habe zwar eine usb tt-3600 aber die DLL ist zumindest laut name der gleiche. (ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll (200.704 Bytes))
das ganze ist ohne Hub direkt an den Rechner angeschlossen. Beim start gibt GE dies aus:

die letzte Zahl ändert sich bei jedem Start, aber wenn ich eine Taste auf der Fernbedienung drücke, erscheint nichts im log fenster.

i added support for usb dvb devices to this plugin.
BUT: i dont have a usb dvb device so this code is untested!

thanks very much for this plugin! It obviously works with TechnoTrend TT-Connect S2-3650 CI USB-Receiver. Just tested it.
