Update, if anyone else was interested.

Added a blank sound (which makes a slight crackle). So I added a mute before the sound plays and then removed the mute after it's done. Works perfectly for me.

Can this be used to keep an audio endpoint alive? I have some USB speakers which go to sleep every 10 minutes, very annoying as I have to turn them back on manually each time.

I keep getting a connection error, everything is working though!?

The AutoRemote message "Event Item" should look like "AutoRemote.Message.YourMessageHere", are you saying that EG is only showing "AutoRemote.Message"?

Could you give me a screenshot of your log window and what message did you create in the AutoRemote Send Message screen?

I have a rather simply solution I use.

In Tasker, I have 1 task using the AutoRemote plugin (sent through EventGhost), message "PCAreYouOn". If the message is received then the below macro responds. If it fails then just use the %err option in the task. You can then add your images etc once you ...

You'll also need to ensure you enable WOL in the BIOS and make sure you network adaparter is set to accept magic packets to full work over the internet.

Query Session says the session is "1" and I modified EventGhost to launch as Administrator but it's still not working, although the arguments appear to be correct. I have attached the screenshots to show how I have configured it at the moment. A screenshot of your setup would help?
